Frostree has been manufacturing and installing all forms of windows and doors for several years. Established in 1981 our main market has been with and still is the commercial sector.
Our customers include many housing associations and local authorities. We also undertake contracts for various main contractors working on schools, hospitals and other public buildings.
We use Comar aluminium systems which is a fully comprehensive architectural aluminium system covering all aspects of aluminium fenestration.
Our uPVC extrusion suppliers are Aluplast (UK) Ltd. They have several profiles to offer including internally glazed and curtain walling.
We operate mainly in the North East region of England from Newcastle in the North to York in the South of the region.
Frostree is a family firm, the Managing Director is Neil D. Snowdon, the other directors are Ian & Dorothy Snowdon.

Location
Frostree is now a thriving business which has grown phenomenally over the last ten years, whilst operating from our 13,500 sq. ft. manufacturing & production facility at Station Street.
Employees
There are 30 fabricators and installers, 4 in administration, two installation managers and a factory manager. We are committed to training our employees in new skills and health & safety at work. All members under 25 are currently doing their NVQs.
Installers
75% of our installers have achieved their NVQ level 2 in fenestration and are holders of CSCS registration cards.
