Frostree was approached by the architect regarding the feasibility of incorporating the clients abstract logo into the curtain wall surrounding the reception area.

Glazed Canopy

Client: NHS Primary Healthcare Trust

Project: Seamless glazed entrance canopy

Frostree was approached by the architect to design, manufacture and install a seamless glazed entrance canopy with secret, integral box gutter and architectural stainless steel through-glass fixing brackets.

Each piece of glass is 19mm thick and weighs in excess of 200kg. Each piece of glass was precision drilled and painstakingly positioned by a mobile crane using glass suckers.

Refurbishment of Grade 11 Listed Primary School

Project: The replacement of Georgian bar windows in a Grade 11 Listed school

Frostree worked closely with the appointed consultant and English Heritage to achieve a much needed facelift while paying attention to the aesthetics of a beautiful listed building. Georgian bars were fitted inside and out to replicate the original look while providing the convenience and insulation of modern window fittings.

Industrial single chamber building

Frostree was approached to install windows to a twelve story single chamber process plant. All windows were fitted externally using a mobile boom lift.

Sixty metre self supporting linked school corridor

Frostree was approached to design, manufacture and install a 60mtr self supporting linked corridor with external and internal windows and doors. Electronic roof lights and vents were incorporated and the project was completed during term time with minimum disruption.

Curtain walling, windows and doors

Frostree was approached to design, manufacture and install fully reversible windows, large internal curtain walling screens; standard, automatic and revolving doors and ribbon windows for the refurbishment and extension of a three story integrated healthcare centre.

Frostree worked in conjunction with the external insulation and rendering contractor to bring the building up to current weather performance specification

Bespoke aluminium door surround, fixed glass roof and anti-bandit windows

Frostree was approached to manufacture and install a decorative aluminium door surround in order to differentiate the Optician from the main medical centre entrance. A class roof was fixed to pillars at the entrance and 11.5mm tinted anti-bandit glass installed on the ground floor throughout. 9.5mm tinted anti-bandit glass was installed to the first floor.
